A Leicestershire 73-year-old who wowed audiences by break dancing on Britain's Got Talent has had his benefit stopped.

Fred Bowers said the allowance he received for a leg injury has been suspended while the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) investigates.
Mr Bowers, from Loughborough, said: "I'm going to struggle on. They're not going to stop me from dancing."

A DWP spokesman said: "We do investigate and take seriously all accusations of fraudulent claims."

Yet we don’t take MP’s “Fraudulent claims seriously that have run into millions of pounds?

Well said. It's typical of the burocratic mentality of our jobsworth Benefit Agency, however, the silly old bugger should have thought it through.

  I agree with your comment, but will add that if he is committing a benefit fraud then of cause he should face the consequences of his actions, and so should all those MP’s that have been caught out right committing the same, which is benefits fraud

    All the MP's who claimed, accepted and spent anything which was not legally theirs should be indicted for embezzlement which carries a prison sentence.
